“ae” sound represented in Kannada using ೆ ್ – in Tulu, it is represented with “J” before character with “ae” sound
kODae = ಕೋಡೆ್ = കോJഡ
This uses similar approach as the Baraha phonetic keyboard
Tulu lipi output is a modified font of Malayalam script (TULUSRI). It cannot render the “J” sound (ae) correctly. Once Unicode Tulu becomes more widely used, a proper Tulu lipi will be shown.
In Kannada, “ae” is represented as a combination of “e” ೆ and a “mute symbol” ್, thus kODae is represented as ಕೋಡೆ್
